With Jos Buttler's beasty 824 runs in IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals stormed into the finals of IPL 2022 and will now look to win their 2nd IPL title after 2008. The England batter has been the star of the Rajasthan show.

Heaping praises on Buttler, Kumara Sangakkara, the Director of Cricket of Rajasthan Royals said that it is hard to describe what Buttler had done for his IPL franchise this season. 'He started off so well, he had a little bit of flutter at one point but then he calmed himself down and had a lot of good conversations than just training, Sangakkara said.

The hero of RR's 2nd Qualifier win was showered with praises from all across. From Harbhajan Singh, Amit Misra to Michael Vaughan, Irfan Pathan congratulated Buttler for his brilliant fireworks at the Motera Stadium.

The opener overcame his slight slump in the 2nd half of this year's IPL and smashed an unbeaten 106 to help Sanju Samson-led side defeat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets. So far in 2022, the 31-year-old has scored 4 centuries and is only the 2nd batter after Virat Kohli to score 4 tons in the single edition of the cash-rich league. He also became only the 3rd batter in IPL history to accumulate over 800 runs in a single season.
