Sunrisers Hyderabad’s fast bowler Umran Malik has revealed the time when he realised that he has a God-given gift to bowl fast and revealed the name of a player who helped him to play in IPL.

In an interview with the Times of India, Umran said that he realised that he can bowl fast in 2018 when he used to play Tennis-ball cricket & got selected for the J&K U-19 cricket team.
Umran revealed that his J&K teammate Abdul Samad helped him a lot and also sent his bowling videos to SRH. While talking about his idol, Umran said that he drew inspiration from Jasprit Bumrah & learnt a lot by watching his videos.
Umran Malik has been enjoying IPL 2022 so far as he has taken 9 wickets in 6 matches. He bowled a 4-wicket maiden last over in the previous match against Punjab Kings.
