On the eve of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction, BCCI added the names of 10 players, including seven Under 19 players that participated in the recently-concluded ICC Under 19 World Cup.
However, India Under 19 wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Bana along with seven other Under 19 cricketers deemed ineligible to go under the hammer.
Meanwhile, India Under19 captain Yash Dhull, Raj Angad Bawa, Rajvardhan Hangargekar and Vicky Ostwal are likely to fetch big money in the auction on a superb World Cup outing.

Hangargekar has kept his base price at Rs 30 lakh, which is Rs 10 lakh more than his Under 19 teammates.
Notably, according to BCCI rules, only those Under19 players would be eligible to give their names for the IPL auction who have played at least one first-class match or List A game or have to turn 19 before the auction takes place.
