IPL 2022 Playoffs schedule: Rajasthan Royals (RR) finished second on IPL 2022 points table after beating Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets on Friday (May 20). Now, Rajasthan and Gujarat, who finished the league phase at 20 points, will play the qualifier 1 on May 24 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The losing team in qualifier 1 will get another chance to qualify for the final.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) finished third on the points table and they will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore or Delhi Capitals, only if Rishabh Pant-led side wins their match on Saturday against Mumbai Indians.

Then, Lucknow have to win their Eliminator match on May 25 and then lock horns with the losing team of Qualifier 1 on May 27. If Delhi failed to win their last league game then Royal Challengers Bangalore will qualify for playoffs at the 4th spot. However, a win for Delhi would knock Bangalore out of IPL 2022.

Yuzvendra Chahal has regained the purple cap from Wanindu Hasaranga after he got two wickets in the match against Chennai Super Kings. Chahal now has 26 wickets in 14 games.
