Rajasthan Royals (RR) jumped to the top spot on IPL 2022 points table after edging out Delhi Capitals by 15 runs at Wankhede Stadium on Friday (April 22). Rajasthan now have five wins in seven matches and a net run rate of 0.432. Gujarat are at the second spot with five wins in six games. They are followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals (DC) remained at the 6th spot after losing against Rajasthan in a high-scoring game. IPL 2022 team standings could see a major rejig after Saturday's doubleheader, in which Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, RCB, and GT will clash.
Moreover, Jos Buttler continued to hold the orange cap after scoring a blistering 116 against Delhi Capitals. He has now 491 runs in seven matches. While Yuzvendra Chahal too continues to hold the purple cap with 18 wickets in seven matches.
