In a big setback to Chennai's faint playoffs qualification hopes, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the remainder of IPL 2022.
In a press statement, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) confirmed that Ravindra Jadeja was under observation for a bruised rib and now based on medical advice he has been ruled out for the rest of the IPL 2022 season.
Former CSK's skipper suffered an injury in his upper body while trying to take a catch in their match against Royal Challengers Bangalore and had to sit out in CSK's next match against Delhi Capitals.

The IPL season has been a nightmare for Jadeja as he has failed to make any impact in all departments. He captained CSK in 8 matches in which his team won just 2. He has scored just 116 runs in 10 matches and picked just 5 wickets.
However, CSK have very slim chances to qualify for the playoffs as they have won just 4 in 11 matches.
