Virat Kohli is unarguably one of the best cricketers in the world but he is struggling to score runs in IPL 2022. Cricket legends have called for Kohli to take a break but RCB skipper Faf du Plessis backed the former RCB captain over his horrible form.

At the post-match interview, du Plessis said that great players go through such phases and his team didn't want him to sit on the sidelines and think about the game.

The former South African cricketer further said that Kohli is a great player and the team still backs him to turn it around.

Kohli has been struggling to get his form in IPL 2022 and have scored just 128 runs in 9 matches so far. After getting out on first-ball ducks in two consecutive matches, Virat was promoted up the batting order on Tuesday vs Rajasthan Royals but he managed to score just 9. RCB lost the match to RR by 29 runs.
