Suryakumar Yadav has joined Mumbai Indians after recovering from his finger injury. Suryakumar suffered a finger injury during the home series against West Indies last month and was undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy. He missed the home series against Sri Lanka as well the MI's IPL opener against Delhi Capitals.

In a media release on Thursday, Mumbai Indians stated, "Suryakumar Yadav exited his mandatory quarantine and joined the team for the gym session in the company of his mates Kieron Pollard, Ishan Kishan and Jasprit Bumrah.”
The second-leading run-scorer for Mumbai Indians in the last IPL season, Suryakumar is one of the most important assets for team Mumbai. Having lost their first match against Delhi Capitals by four wickets, Mumbai Indians would be looking forward to bouncing back against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday.
