After a two year break due to Coronavirus, fans will get an opportunity to cheer for their favourite teams and players during the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League.
"The matches will be played across stadiums in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai & Pune with a crowd capacity of 25 percent as per Covid-19 protocols," IPL organisers said in a press statement.
The tickets for IPL 2022 will be available from March 23 from 12 PM onwards on IPL's official website and BookMyShow.
BCCI has restricted this year's IPL to only four venues in Maharashtra to curb the spread of Covid-19 infections among the squads.
Earlier, BCCI had laid down one of the stringent bio-bubble rules for teams, franchises, players, and their family members. The breach of bio-bubble would attract suspension from IPL. The IPL 2022 opener will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26.
