Former New Zealand top-order batter Ross Taylor named two Indian players to be the future of India and world cricket.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Taylor told that Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant are tremendous young talents who will take Indian cricket forward. Pant doesn't believe in holding back, whereas Iyer moulds himself as per the circumstances. According to Taylor, Pant is not a young player anymore as he has been playing international cricket for a while. Talking about Shreyas, he recalls the time when he first saw Shreyas back in 2016-17 when the youngster played with a lot of confidence.
As per Taylor, leading Kolkata Knight Riders will be great for Shreyas as he will be learning from Taylor's former teammate, Brendon McCullum and other experienced players. Taylor believes that Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant will become the superstars of not only Indian cricket but world cricket as well in 5-6 years.
