Pointing out that Rohit Sharma, the MI skipper isn't using the ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah in the most efficient way, Ravi Shastri said that rather than saving him for the death overs or to make him play against some specific cricketers, Bumrah should be used for taking wickets in important periods.

Cummins snatched a set game from Mumbai with a stunning 56 in mere 16 balls. Cummins thrashed Daniel Sams for 35 runs in the 16th over as he helped KKR win their 3rd game this season. Bumrah who got to bowl only 3 overs could not find any wicket and leaked 26 runs.

Calling the loss against KKR a bitter pill to swallow, Shastri explained that if the momentum is on the batter's side and he is in the mood, it wouldn't matter who the bowler is and will go for runs.

'Waiting for, 'if Russell comes I'll use Bumrah', but then if it's too late, there's no Russell, someone else did the job', Shastri added.
