Bolstered by Suryakumar Yadav's return to form, five-time champions Mumbai Indians will look to continue their winning momentum when they face a resurgent Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Both MI and SRH are coming into Tuesday's match after successive wins, having started the tournament with identical back-to-back losses.

After struggling with consistency in their first two fixtures, MI are now looking a very balanced side with batters striking form and spinners Piyush Chawla and Hrithik Shokeen finding their groove.

But the Mumbai-based team’s pace department is still operating on shaky ground in the absence of their talisman Jofra Archer, who has been sidelined due to fresh elbow trouble.

Apart from Riley Meredith and Jason Behrendorff, newcomers Arjun Tendulkar and Duan Jansen make up the pacing unit.

While it remains to be seen if Arjun and Duan keep their place in the Playing XI, history will be made if Duan plays, as it will be the first time ever that twins will feature in an IPL match, albeit on the opposing sides.

Duan's twin brother, Marco Jansen, along with other SRH pacers, have troubled their opponents while spinner Mayank Markande has been the team’s highest wicket-taker this season so far.

SRH’s batting line-up too has found its footing with Harry Brook, Aiden Markram, and Rahul Tripathi, all looking in good touch.

TEAM NEWS

Rohit Sharma, who was out with a stomach bug, is likely to return to lead Mumbai. There is a possibility that Duan Jansen, who had an expensive outing during his MI debut, could be replaced by Jason Behrendorff.

Hyderabad’s Mayank Agarwal has stuck out like a sore thumb with his lack of runs at the top. Anmolpreet Singh and Abdul Samad are waiting in the wings, but Agarwal is likely to keep his place for this game at least.

WEATHER NEWS

The weather is predicted to be hot and humid with no chance of rain during the match.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Hyderabad and Mumbai have clashed a total of 18 times, with both sides winning 9 matches each. SRH were the ones who won the close contest in their last IPL meeting.
