Former Pakistan Prime Minister and World Cup-winning captain Imran Khan lambasted the BCCI for banning Pakistani players from playing in the Indian Premier League.
Calling the Indian board arrogant, Imran while speaking on Times Radio said, 'If India does not allow Pakistan so be it, Pakistan should not worry about it'
Khan further accused BCCI of behaving as a superpower in the cricketing world because of their ability to generate funds. I think they almost dictate now as a sort of arrogance of a superpower who they should play and who they shouldn't, he added.
Pakistan had participated in the inaugural season of the cash-rich league in 2008 but because of the terror attacks in Mumbai that happened later that year India eventually banned Pakistani players from IPL.
