With England premier pacer Jofra Archer likely to return to competitive cricket early next year, it comes as good news for Mumbai Indians.
According to a cricbuzz report, the right-arm pacer, who last played competitive cricket in July 2021, has started bowling and is likely to attain full fitness by March, when IPL 2023 is scheduled to kick off.
Mumbai Indians had put faith in Archer as they choose not to release him ahead of IPL 2023 mini-auction on December 23.

The five-time champions MI bought Archer for Rs 8 crore in IPL 2022 mega auction despite knowing his unavailability for the cash-rich league early this year.
However, it is still not clear whether England and Wales Cricket Board will allow their premier pacer to play IPL next year as he is returning to fitness after a long injury layoff.
