Lucknow Super Giants' sensation Mayank Yadav surprised everyone on Sunday when his deliveries barely managed to breach 140 kph during the match against Gujarat.

Yadav bowled just one over before leaving the field for the rest of the game's duration.

Though teammate Krunal Pandya confirmed that the 21-year-old is doing fine, a new update reveals that Yadav is likely to undergo a precautionary MRI scan ahead of Lucknow's next clash.

According to Times of India, 'Mayank Yadav felt some tightness after bowling the first over last night. The Lucknow management did not want to risk him.'

He is most likely to be available for LSG's April 12 clash against Delhi Capitals at Ekana Stadium.
