The RCB vs CSK showdown on May 18 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium is going to decide the fate of both the teams, with respect to playoffs' contention.
There is a high possibility that the team that wins this match will qualify for the playoffs.
But the high-octane clash is expected to be foiled by Bengaluru showers.
As per the weather department, May 18 is expected to display a generally cloudy sky with a few spells of rain or thundershowers.
There is a more than 80% chance of precipitation predicted in the evening during the game.
If the match were to be called off due to incessant rains, RCB will have to bear the loss as they will end up with points lesser than their rivals.
Delhi Capitals, who won against LSG on May 14, have 14 points and so do CSK. Meanwhile, Bengaluru have 12 points from 13 games.
But if the game on Saturday concludes without any result, RCB will be awarded 13 points while Chennai will end with 15 to sail through to the playoffs.
