Rishabh Pant went down in history books on Thursday as he became the first player ever to represent the Delhi Capitals in 100 IPL matches in the history of the cash-rich league.

The occasion became even more memorable when DC presented its skipper with a special jersey with the number 100 inscribed on its back.

All players made a huddle for the mini-ceremony ahead of DC's match against the Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur and congratulated Pant for the achievement. Before him, Amit Mishra with 99 outings, had played the most games for DC.

Pant had missed the entire IPL 2023 as he was nursing multiple injuries suffered during a horrific car crash on 30 December 2022. The wicketkeeper-batter returned to lead the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024.
