Mohsin Khan of LSG scalped two crucial wickets of Rohit Sharma and Nehal Wadhera as the hosts restricted Mumbai Indians to a paltry 144/7 on Tuesday.
Speaking after the match, Khan said, 'We practice a lot. We rectified what was not working in the last match and the results are there to see. We worked well on our plan that is why we were able to restrict them (MI) to such a low score and eventually win the match.'
The wicket at Ekana is not a high-scoring one. And Khan was of the same opinion, 'The ball was gripping and the wicket was slow today. It was not like the usual 200-par pitch, the score was expected to be around 160-165, they were 15-20 runs short. Our bowling was also good today.'
LSG chased down 145 in 19.2 overs with back-in-form Marcus Stoinis scoring a match-winning 62 in 45 deliveries.
