Once, Rinku Singh forgot the advice MS Dhoni gave him and now, he broke a bat gifted to him by Indian stalwart Virat Kohli.

The KKR batter's off-field shenanigans are almost as entertaining as his on-field heroics against formidable opponents.

In a recent clip shared by the Kolkata Knight Riders, Singh engaged in light-hearted banter with Virat Kohli as he narrated the story of how he broke Kohli's bat.

According to Singh, he broke the bat while facing a spinner. When he revealed this to the RCB batter, he looked on with surprise.

'Spinner pe bat tod diya tune? Kaha se toota? (You broke the bat off of a spinner's delivery? Where is it broken from?)' Kohli asked him.

Rinku then went on to demonstrate how the toe of the bat was completely damaged.

'Toh mai kya karu bhai? (So, what do I do now?)' Kohli responded.

Kohli added with a cheeky smile, that it was good to know the bat broke but he doesn't need all the additional information.

As Rinku requested for another bat, Kohli was seen chronicling how he will keep losing his bats every match because of Singh.

But Rinku insisted, 'Aap ki kasam khaa raha hu, phir kabhi nahi todunga bat. (I swear on your life, I will never break a bat again)'

The video ended in suspense, it remains to be seen if Kohli finally relented and gifted another bat to Rinku.

Kolkata Knight Riders host Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the first game of Super Sunday on April 21, 2024.
