India's Parul Chaudhary made history in the Asian Games on Tuesday evening by clinching the country's 14th Gold medal in Hangzhou.
Parul's brilliant run in the women's 5000m, including a sensational sprint right before the finish line saw her clinch the top spot with a time of 15:14.75.
While Japan's Ririka Hironaka looked favourite to win the Gold on the final lap, Parul produced an insane burst of pace right at the end to overtake her opponent.
The 28-year-old had already won the silver in the 3000m Steeplechase event and now, she had entered history books by bringing home the Gold.
