Asian Wrestling Championships 2022: Ravi Dahiya scripts history, wins 3rd straight GOLD

Tokyo Olympics silver medalist wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya scripted history to win his third consecutive Asian Championships gold medal at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on Saturday.

Dahiya defeated Kazakhstan’s Rakhat Kalzhan 12-2 by technical superiority in the men’s 57 kg category to win the gold medal at Asian Championships 2022. The Olympic medalist had won the gold medals at the Asian Championships in the 2020 and 2021 editions of the tournament.

With 1 gold, 4 silver and 10 bronze medals, India has won 15 medals in Asian Wrestling Championships 2022 and is currently placed 5th at the medal table.
