Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal fans will have to wait till the final to see the two heavyweights lock horns at the Australian Open, provided they make it that far.
Djoko and Rafa were placed on opposite halves of the Australian Open bracket in the draw on Thursday, meaning the owners of a combined 43 Grand Slam singles titles could only meet in the final at Melbourne Park.
9-time Australian Open champion Djokovic returns to the tournament after missing the last edition due to his visa fiasco. Both Djokovic and Nadal open their campaign on January 16.
