Team World ended Team Europe's dominance in the Laver Cup as they won their maiden title to deny Roger Federer a final trophy.
Frances Tiafoe and Felix Auger-Aliassime won their respective singles games on the final day at the O2 Arena in London on Sunday. Team World, who had lost the four previous editions of the team event, first stunned 21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic. Felix Auger-Aliassime stunned him 6-3 7-6.
Tiafoe then saved 4 match points against Stefanos Tsitsipas to clinch the decisive win for Team World against Team Europe.
The tournament may have begun with all the eyeballs on Federer but it ended with the spotlight on Team World.
