India Open: Lakshya Sen beats reigning World Champion Loh Kean Yew in men's singles final

India won big at this year's India Open. While ace Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen has clinched gold in Men's singles final, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty also grabbed the top spot in the Men's doubles competition.

The 20-year-old who was participating in his maiden India Open defeated the reigning World Champion Loh Kean Yew 24-22, 21-17 in New Delhi on Sunday to lift the coveted India Open crown. He recently grabbed the bronze at the World Badminton Championship.

The pair of Satwiksairaj and Chirag also became the first Indian duo to win the double title at the India Open. They defeated 3-time World Champions Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan from Indonesia by 21-16, 26-24 to claim their maiden India Open title.
