Indian woman cyclist accuses head coach of 'inappropriate behaviour'

An Indian cyclist has accused the national team chief coach, RK Sharma of inappropriate behaviour, during a camp in Slovenia, as per a report in The Indian Express.

The Indian cyclist who has now been brought back to India on the orders of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) had reportedly complained to the body and the Cycling Federation of India. Both the organisation did not reveal the name of the complainant and have formed separate inquiry committees to look into the allegations. 

As per the report, CFI in its statement said that they have identified the complainant and coach, and they now stand with the complainant. 

'Following the complaint by the athlete, SAI has immediately brought her back to India to ensure her safety and has also constituted a committee to investigate the matter',SAI said.
