As Neeraj Chopra eyes his second Olympic medal, the Athletics Federation of India has confirmed on Sunday that the contract of Gold-medalist's coach Klaus Bartonietz has been extended till the 2024 Paris Olympics.

After winning the historic Olympic gold at Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj showed his desire to continue with his German coach, who is a biomechanical expert. Neeraj has been working hard to reach the 90-metre target ahead of Paris Olympics.

Bartonietz took over Chopra's coaching job during the javelin thrower's rehabilitation and recovery from elbow surgery in 2018.
