Tennis star and world number 1 Novak DJokovic is all set to make his return to competitive tennis at the Dubai Open which starts from 14th February. The 20-time Grand Slam winner was also given the top seed in Men's singles at the tournament. This will be the first on-court outing for the Serbian tennis ace who was deported from Australia over non-compliance with the country's covid vaccination policy.
Djokovic was deported after his visa was cancelled by the Australian authorities and a series of court cases in Melbourne. Meanwhile, Djokovic will be allowed to enter & compete in Dubai as the UAE has not made Covid vaccinations compulsory for travellers and only needs a negative RT-PCR test to enter the country.
