20-time Grand Slam Champion Roger Federer has admitted that his recovery from a knee injury has been slow.
The 40-year-old has played just five tournaments since February 2020 and he last featured at the Wimbledon quarter-finals almost a year ago before undergoing a third surgery on his knee.

The former World No. 1 told Swiss broadcaster SRF that he plays from time to time with his four children, but things are moving slowly.
Earlier, Federer had announced that he will return to competitive tennis at the Swiss Indoors in Basel this October.
He further added that people ask him about his recovery from surgery and he has always answered that it will take a little more time. Federer said, "I just have to stay patient, I’m making constant progress."
