Wrestler Sushil Kumar, a two-time Olympic medalist and murder suspect, has been granted permission to provide fitness and wrestling coaching in Tihar Jail.

"We have allowed Sushil Kumar to give fitness and wrestling coaching to those prisoners who are interested, 6-7 prisoners are receiving coaching from him," news agency ANI reported quoting Director General of Prisons.

However, prisoners were training without any tools as prison rules don't allow providing such equipment.

"A bucket of water or stone in the garden could be used as a substitute for weight," Hindustan Times reported quoting another prison officer.

Sushil is facing charges in connection with the murder of wrestler Sagar Dhankar in the Chhatrasal case.
