15-time major champion Tiger Woods who had withdrawn from the masters due to injury has undergone a successful ankle fusion surgery.
In a statement posted on Twitter, the 47-year-old informed that the operation was performed to treat his post-traumatic arthritis from a previous bone fracture.
Woods who has not been actively participating in tournaments after his 2021 car crash is also in doubt for next month's US PGA Championship that will be held from 18th to 21st May.
