Aryna Sabalenka stormed into her maiden Grand Slam singles final after a comfortable 7-6, 6-2 victory against Poland's Magda Linette.
After an initial stutter in the first set that saw her go 0-2 behind, Sabalenka bounced back to win the first set in the tiebreak.
The unseeded Linette was just no match for the no. 5 seed Sabalenka, who won the second set after breaking her opponent's serve twice.
The 2021 Australian Open doubles champion will now face Wimbledon winner Elena Rybakina for the women's singles crown on Saturday.
