Hours after Sanjay Kumar Singh, the Brij Bhushan aide, emerged victorious in the Wrestling Federation of India elections, the ex-President has reacted to the development.
Speaking to news agency ANI, a garlanded Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said, 'The message is clear for those want to see, I prevailed before and that dominance will continue.'
As the BJP MP celebrated Sanjay Singh's victory, in another part of the national capital protesting wrestlers who have accused Brij Bhushan of sexual harassment fell short of words at a press meet.
Rio Olympics medallist Sakshi Malik broke down in front of the cameras as she spoke, 'If Brij Bhushan's associate, his business partner will be the new WFI chief, I don't want to play anymore.'
In dramatic fashion, the teary-eyed Olympian proceeded to keep her shoes on the table, 'I will quit wrestling, and I thank the people of this nation for their support in helping me achieve so much in my career.'
