After Neeraj Chopra historic gold medal at Tokyo Olympics, javelin throwers in India have been getting the much-deserved limelight.
A video of a teenage javelin thrower Rohan Yadav has gone viral on social media after Peru-based coach Michael Musselmann shared it on Twitter.
Musselmann, who helped Neeraj in the his early years, wrote in the Twitter post that Rohan is making a throw of 65 metres with 800g javelin and he is one of the biggest javelin talents in India.
He further added that with this throw 15-year-old Rohan can place himself in the top 10 Under-18 javelin throwers in the world.
Musselmann, who is currently coaching Rohan, has also appealed for monetary help and sponsors as the budding javelin thrower needs shoe supplements.
The Peru-based coach touted Rohan Yadav to be the next Neeraj Chopra in 4-6 years time.
