Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Indian athletes who took part in the Paris Olympics at his New Delhi residence on Independence Day. PM Modi commended the remarkable successes of the Indian men's hockey team, double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker, Sarabjot Singh, and Aman Sehrawat, among others.
During their time at the Paris Olympics, Indian competitors earned a collective of six medals, with Manu Bhaker, Sarabjot Singh, Swapnil Kusale, the Indian men's hockey squad, and Neeraj Chopra all taking home medals. "Beloved citizens, today we proudly have the young individuals who lifted our flag at the Paris Olympics." On behalf of 140 crore Indians, I want to extend my congratulations to all our athletes.
We will progress with fresh aspirations and goals and accomplish them through our continuous endeavors. During his speech, PM Modi expressed his well wishes to our para-athletes who will be traveling to Paris for the Paralympics in a few days.
