Prime Minister Narendra Modi met and honoured India's young chess players for their remarkable success at the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest, where both the men's and women's teams secured their first gold medals.
It is the first time in India's history that both the men's and women's teams took home the first spot at the Chess Olympiad.
During the interaction, PM Modi also witnessed a bullet chess match between two stars from the victorious men's team, R Praggnanandhaa and Arjun Erigasi.
