Indian Grandmaster Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa recently finished as the runner-up in the Chess World Cup after losing to World number 1 Magnus Carlsen in the final match.

In conversation with Vikram Chandra for the India Story, Pragg was asked about how he feels when he competes against the formidable Norwegian. He replied, "Yeah, I mean, he is very strong. He's the best player in the world. Whenever I play him, I feel like it is an opportunity to learn and I always give him my best. To compete with him, it's like, you know, his level. I think I would need to improve further and I'm working on my chess. Whenever I play him I just enjoy myself playing him".

Praggnanandhaa will be competing in the team event at the Asian Games 2023 at Hangzhou.
