23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams made a winning return to Tennis after a-year long break at WTA Eastbourne International.
The American Tennis ace playing with Tunisia Ons Jabeur came victorious 2-6, 6-3, 13-11 in a dramatic doubles match against Spain's Sara Torribes Sormo and Czech player Marie Bouzkova.
Williams who made a tearful exit from last year's Wimbledon with a leg injury is set to participate at the Wimbledon as a wildcard entrant in a bid to win the 24th Grand Slam title.
The 40-year-old who is currently ranked 1,204 has won 7 Championships. She remained unseeded at the Wimbledon due to her extended absence from the Tennis world. She won her last Grand Slam in 2017 at the Australian Open.
