The cat and mouse game between Novak Djokovic & Carlos Alcaraz continues!
The latest in their race to be the ATP No. 1 is that there is a possibility that the 20-year-old Spaniard will enter Wimbledon 2023 as the top seed.
Alcaraz is partaking in the Queen’s Club ATP 500 event and has been seeded number one.
A win here will power him back to the pole position with 7695 points, just 100 more than Djoker's 7595.
Alcaraz was pushed to number 2 after Novak Djokovic defeated him during their semifinal clash at Roland Garros.
The Serb then claimed the top spot with his consecutive wins over Alcaraz and then Casper Ruud in the final.
However, the 36-year-old has announced that he will not be participating any grass-court events in the follow up to the Wimbledon Championships.
This has provided Alcaraz with a leeway to cruise back to No. 1.
