This will mark Bopanna's third appearance in a Wimbledon semifinal, with his last one dating back to 2015. Throughout his career, the 43-year-old has reached four Grand Slam semifinals in men's doubles, including being the runner-up at the US Open in 2010.
In the next round, the sixth-seeded Bopanna-Ebden pair will face the top-seeded duo of Wesley Koolhof from the Netherlands and Neal Skupski from Great Britain.
The opening set of the match against Griekspoor-Stevens was an even contest, resulting in a tie-breaker that lasted 45 minutes. Despite a setback in the second set, Bopanna and Ebden managed to make a comeback, breaking their opponents' serve and ultimately clinching the set.
The third set proved to be a more straightforward affair, with Bopanna and Ebden breaking the Dutch pair twice and securing victory after a one-hour and 54-minute battle.
