Former South African cricketer AB de Villiers flew down to Bengaluru to talk about his future with the former IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore. A video shared by RCB on their official Twitter handle shows ABD checking out of the Bengaluru airport. The former cricketer can be seen saying, ‘I am here to chat with the RCB guys about this year’s IPL’

However, the franchise is yet to make an announcement about ABD’s role at RCB in next year’s IPL.

The prolific batter announced his retirement from all forms of cricket last year. While the 38-year-old was contracted with RCB only until 2021, he had expressed his wish to continue his association with his IPL team earlier this year. ABD has now returned to India to take about the same officially.
