While Head coach Rahul Dravid didn't want to term India's 10-wicket drubbing by England as a debacle, captain Rohit Sharma admitted that it was a below-par performance from Team India in the semifinal of the ICC T20 World Cup.
In the post-match reaction, the India captain said that the Men In Blue batted well, especially at the back end but the bowlers didn't turn up when it mattered the most.
Team India captain Rohit Sharma said: "It's pretty disappointing how we turned up today. We still batted well especially at the back end to get to that score but we were not good enough with the ball. It was definitely not a wicket where the team could come and chase down in 16-17 overs. But things like that can happen. Like I said, with the ball we just didn't turn up today."

Meanwhile England captain Jos Buttler termed his side's performance close to perfect.
Jos Buttler said, "We came here very excited. There was a really good feeling around the group to get out of the group stages and be able to play on occasions like this. And I thought everyone from one to 11 stood up today."
