With many games affected by rain and a few going down the drain in the T20 World Cup 2022, ICC is taking no chance with the final.

The organisers have further extended the playing time for the final between Pakistan and England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, scheduled to begin at 7 PM local time on Sunday.

Though it was a sunny Sunday morning but the met department has predicted rain during the day. Despite there being a reserve day (November 14), efforts are being made to complete the match on Sunday.

Currently the match will begin at 7 PM local time and should end at 10:30 PM. However, an additional 1 hour 30 minutes have been added and it can now go on till midnight, if rain intervenes.

If the final does not get completed on Sunday, then it will be resumed at the point where the last ball was played on Monday.
