Wicketkeeper batter Matthew Wade became the second Australian at the T20 World Cup to test positive for Covid-19.
Only days ago, leg-spinner Adam Zampa had returned a positive test and subsequently, missed the game against Sri Lanka which the defending champions won by 7 wickets.
Wade, who is the only wicketkeeper in the 15-man Australian squad, tested positive on Wednesday evening. According to Cricket Australia, he only has minor symptoms and is expected to feature for the home side in their crucial match against England at the MCG on Friday.
