South Africa head coach Mark Boucher reflected on a disappointing end to Proteas' T20 World Cup 2022 campaign after they were knocked out following a shock loss vs Netherlands.
A gutted Boucher said that his squad deserved to give themselves a better chance. 'It's very disappointing for me and certainly every single guy who's in our dressing room at the moment.' he added.
The 45-year-old former wicketkeeper also admitted that as a coach, it was his worst loss.
'It is quite frustrating because as a player you can at least still have a say in the game. As a coach, you're left to leave it up to other individuals to go out there and try and perform,' Boucher stated.
