South African pace bowler Anrich Nortje believes allowing two bouncers in an over in T20 cricket will make the contest between bat and ball more exciting.
Currently, a bowler is allowed to bowl two bouncers in an over in both Tests and ODIs, while there's just one allowed per over in T20s.
Speaking on the eve of the all-important match against India, Nortje said that on bouncy tracks like the one in Perth, it's important that the bowlers don't get carried away with only one bouncer available per over. He further added that having two bumpers would have been unbelievable in these conditions.
