A chance to lift the coveted T20 World Cup trophy awaits as Pakistan take on England in the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Melbourne on Sunday. The clash will be a rematch of the 1992 World Cup final at the very same venue.
With both teams coming off comfortable victories in their respective semi-final encounters, it will all come down to the battle of nerves in the final showdown. This will be England's first final since the 2016 T20 World Cup whereas Pakistan will be playing in their first final in 13 years having won the tournament back in 2009.
England are coming to the final after defeating heavyweights India by a massive 10-wicket margin while Pakistan played some of their best cricket in their 7-wicket semi-final win against New Zealand.
It will be a battle between England's deep batting line-up and Pakistan's incredible bowling attack. While the Three Lions do possess a number of world-class big-hitters who can single-handedly win the game, Pakistan's bowling attack is arguably the best of the lot. It will be a clash of the titans at the mighty MCG.
While there's rain predicted for Sunday, there's a reserve day as well but fans all over the world will be hoping for the weather to not play spoilsport.
