Watch: Team India T20 World Cup jersey launched in grand fashion in Dharamsala

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday unveiled Team India's jersey for T20 World Cup 2024 in grand fashion in Dharamsala.

Adidas, which signed a 5-year deal as Team India's kit sponsor, posted a video along with the BCCI and launched the jersey on social media.

The post was captioned, 'One jersey. One Nation. Presenting the new Team India T20 jersey.'

In the video, team India members including skipper Rohit Sharma can be seen training at Dharamsala when a helicopter emerges with the jersey. The arms and shoulders are safron in colour with the 3 iconic Adidas stripes. While the rest of the jersey in blue.

BCCI's deal with Adidas began with the ICC World Test Championship last year and will end in March 2028.

India schedule for T20 World Cup 2024

India is placed in Group A and begin its campaign against Ireland on June 5.

India's marque clash against arch rivals Pakistan is scheduled on June 9 before Rohit Sharma's men take on the United States and Canada on June 12 and 15 respectively.
