After a brief slump mid-season, Mumbai Indians came out all guns blazing in their last league game as they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 4 wickets at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
Chasing a 125-run target, Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Mathews put up a 50-run stand. Bangalore tried to make a comeback by taking quick wickets in the middle overs, reducing Mumbai to 73-4 from 53-0.
However, Amelia Kerr's unbeaten 31 ensured Mumbai crossed the line at the end.
Earlier, Amelia Kerr snapped three wickets as Harmanpreet Kaur-led side produced a disciplined effort to restrict RCB to 125 for nine in their final league match of WPL 2023.
