Former Wrestling Federation of India chief Brijbhushan Sharan Singh is likely to get a clean chit in the sexual harassment case, according to news agency ANI.
The report suggests Delhi Police haven't found sufficient evidence against the BJP MP to arrest him.
In fact, the cops may file the probe report within 15 days and according to Delhi Police sources as quoted by ANI, they have found no incriminating proof against Brijbhushan,
The news will come as a big setback for the protesting wrestlers, who were planning to go on a fast unto death if the BJP lawmaker wasn't taken into custody.
Farmer leader Naresh Tikait had given a 5-day ultimatum to the government on Tuesday, claiming the wrestlers would return to immerse the medals in River Ganga if Brijbhushan continued to roam free.
