Rashid Khan hit Stoinis for another cracking SIX on the 4th delivery getting the bowler under some pressure.

However, Rashid's brilliant batting display was not enough to give Afghanistan their first victory in the tournament.

The Aussies would have wanted to score more but have to do with the below par total in the end because of a brilliant bowling display by Afghanistan.

Glenn Maxwell completed his fifty in just 29 balls as Australia look to finish the innings strongly.

Lockie Ferguson came in to bowl his final over of the day and got hit for a FOUR by George Dockrell on the first delivery followed by a single on the next one.

The pacer recovered well after that as he dismissed batter Fionn Hand with a caught and bold on the 3rd delivery.

Ferguson then went on to take another wicket of Dockrell on 23 runs in the 5th delivery making it 3 wickets on the day for him.

Ireland lose their 5th wicket as Lorcan Tucker gets dismissed by Ish Sodhi at 13 runs.

Ireland get off to a steady start as openers Paul Stirling and Andrew Balbirnie score 19 runs in the first three overs.

The Kiwis managed to put a healthy total of 185 runs on the boards as they look on track to qualify for the semi-finals of T20 World Cup 2022. Skipper Kane Williamson's 61 runs off 35 deliveries was an important batting performance for New Zealand.
